LO206

LO206 jetting for the air you are racing in

KartBrain's LO206 helper sets carb direction from density altitude, humidity, your slide, and your calibration. It does not invent a main jet from a hunch. Pair it with Rev Range, limiter time, and dyno-based power on the lap you just ran.

What the helper outputs

For the conditions you enter, you get a coherent carb package: main jet direction, needle clip, float height, air-bleed, pilot, idle target, and spark plug / gap guidance that stays inside Briggs & Stratton LO206 rules. Idle targets the documented RPM (1950) so the result is repeatable across weekends.

Weather that matches the session

Pull conditions from a track ZIP or type temperature, humidity, and pressure yourself. A morning practice and a hot final are different jets — the helper is meant to be re-run when the air changes, not once per season.

Engine behaviour on the same weekend

After you import a logger file, Rev Range shows whether you live on the limiter before the straight ends. Estimated horsepower (from a real LO206 dyno curve and your RPM) shows peak band and power off the corner. Clutch Slip flags a clutch that has not locked. Jetting, gearing, and clutch stop being three separate arguments.

Verify on the plug

Photograph the spark plug after a representative run. The plug reader looks at mixture, heat, and condition — and asks for a retake when the photo is bad instead of guessing. History keeps prior jetting results so you can see what you ran when the air was similar.

FAQ

Does this replace the Briggs jetting chart?
It is a weather-aware helper aligned with LO206 rules, not a substitute for tech inspection or the official class rules. Always confirm legality for your series.
Will the AI invent a jet size?
No. Jetting numbers come from the helper's calculation path. The coach is forbidden from inventing jetting, gears, or lap times. Open Data Sent on any coach reply to see what was used.
Does it work for two-stroke classes?
The deep jetting and dyno-power path is LO206. Two-stroke drivers still get data analysis, setups, sessions, and the coach with class-specific rulebook retrieval.
