Why it matters
Benefits behind the system
KartBrain is built so the next change you make is the one that moves the clock — not the one that feels productive. The system ranks time loss, keeps engine and setup context, and refuses to invent the numbers that would send you the wrong way.

Find time that is already in your laps
The ideal lap is not a fantasy target from another driver. It is the sum of the best time you have already driven in each corner on this day. That shows how much pace is sitting in the file before you touch the kart — and which corner unlocks the most of it.
- Gain Plan orders corners by time you can still find
- Best-corners-combined is a realistic next-lap target
- Traffic laps can be excluded so coaching is not polluted
Practice the corners that move the clock
Some corners wobble without changing lap time. Clock movers are the ones whose sector or corner time tracks the overall lap. Repeatability and Spread Band show where you are already consistent and where scatter is burning tenths — so practice time goes to the right place.
Separate driver, chassis, and engine
A slow exit can be a late apex, a soft tire, a short gear, or a clutch still slipping. Entry · apex · exit, grip circle, Rev Range, Clutch Slip, and estimated power split those causes so you do not jet for a driving error or change width for a gearing problem.
LO206 jetting for the air you are in
Density altitude and humidity change the jet you need between morning practice and the final. The helper uses weather at the track, your slide, and your calibration. Pilot jet and plug stay inside Briggs rules. You get a direction you can verify on the plug after the run.
A setup book that compounds
Every sheet you save is context for the next question. Compare two setups and see only what changed. Link a sheet to a session and to a coach thread. Over a season, the record is what makes advice specific to your kart instead of generic karting tips.
Trust through transparency
The coach is not allowed to invent jetting, gears, or lap times. Every reply can open Data Sent: the profile facts used, the document excerpts retrieved, and system notes. If a number is missing from that panel and from the file, you know not to treat it as measured.
One workflow from paddock to PDF
Import, analyse, jet, ask, export. The same account holds the logger file, the setup, the weather for that hour, and the report you hand to a coach or parent — without rebuilding the story in a spreadsheet every weekend.
