Everything in KartBrain

One account covers the coach, the setup book, the session log, the data workspace, and the LO206 tools. Every screenshot here is the real app; tap one to see it full size.

Why racers find speed

  • Corners to work on first

The gain plan names the corners that cost the most time and builds a next-lap target from the three biggest of them.

  • Best corners, combined

Your ideal lap is the sum of the best time you have already driven in each corner. That is the lap you are capable of today.

  • Real LO206 dyno, on your lap

Horsepower around the lap is estimated from a real LO206 dyno curve and the RPM in the file: peak band, limiter time, and the power you carry off each corner.

  • Jetting for this weather

The LO206 jetting helper uses the air at the track, your slide, and your calibration. It does not invent a jet from a hunch.

  • What you changed

Setup compare highlights only the fields that differ, so a faster lap is tied to the change you actually made.

  • Numbers stay numbers

Lap times, corner deltas, and channel stats come from the file. The coach is not allowed to invent jetting, gears, or a lap time.

Data analytics

The whole session, one workspace

Works with MyChron 5 & 6 and Alfano 6 & 7 on every plan. Import a Race Studio XRK or CSV, or an Alfano CSV. The file is read on your device. Out laps, in laps, and warm-up laps stay out of the coaching. Then open the workspace.

  • Quick Read, Gain Plan, Pace Trend, Track Progress
  • Sector grid, corner report, entry · apex · exit, clock movers
  • Corner Radar, repeatability, Spread Band, lap anatomy, grip circle
  • Rev Range and Clutch Slip
  • Traces for up to four laps, zoomed to a sector or a corner
  • Compare a lap, the virtual best, or another session
  • Ask a follow-up on the same report. The lap tables are not repeated
  • Export a PDF: cover, the sections you pick, and a corner book

LO206

RPM, gear, and jetting from real engine data

The jetting helper sets the clip, slide, air-bleed, and float for the air you are actually in, and it shows why. Pilot jet and spark plug stay inside the Briggs rules. Weather comes from a ZIP or from the station in your hand.

  • Estimated HP on the lap, on power, and in the peak band
  • Time on the rev limiter, and HP while the limiter is cutting
  • Corner-exit HP next to your best lap there
  • Your powerband, typed by you and saved on the device
  • Main jet, slide, spark plug and gap, air-bleed, octane, ethanol
  • Jetting history you can reopen

Optimal Gear

The right axle sprocket, from real dyno data

Optimal Gear is built from real dyno data from top engine builders. It runs your engine's curve through your sprockets, tire, race weight, and track, and picks the axle sprocket that keeps the engine in its power band.

  • From your track: top speed at the end of the longest straight and your slowest corner
  • Or from your logger file: time on the limiter, corner-exit RPM, and clutch slip on your best lap
  • For the LO206, it gears you to the right limiter time for your slide, whether you race alone or in a drafting pack
  • The RPM range for your gear and two teeth either side, with the pick highlighted
  • Plain-language reasons and a confidence level. The dyno curve stays on our server
  • No curve for your class yet? It falls back to rev-limiter physics and says so

Setup sheets

Set the sheet up your way

Photograph a paper setup and carry it in, or type it once and keep it. Tires, gears, clutch, geometry, seat, and lead are all on the sheet. Then hide every field you do not use. The page shows the kart the way you prefer to set it up.

  • Chassis, engine, class, and series from the same lists as onboarding
  • Cold and hot pressure, with growth called out when the tire came up short or long
  • LO206 carb fields appear when the engine is an LO206
  • Duplicate, rename, archive. A sheet is never hard-deleted
  • Attach a saved setup to a question so the coach sees that sheet

From a photo

Point the camera at the screen, or at the plug

Take a picture or a screenshot of the data already on your phone. Split times or a time/distance graph. Or photograph the spark plug and have it read for mixture, heat, and condition. The same Tools list is where the data import and the jetting helper live.

  • Track manager with layouts, corner names, and a saved map from the data file
  • Best lap against your personal best at that track
  • Per-lap RPM, speed, throttle, and brake when the file has them
  • Weekend schedule OCR, shared as a link, with alarms for your classes
  • Race Studio photo analyzer for split times and time/distance

Coach

It knows the kart, and shows what it used

Onboarding asks for the chassis, the model, the tubing, the engine, the class, and the series. Log the racing facts and the setup after that. The more of that you send with a setup question, a troubleshooting question, or a hunt for time, the more the model already knows what is on the kart. It keeps the record and uses it the next time.

  • Suggest jetting, explain a setup change, build a pre-race list, read driver notes
  • Photos of a tire or the track surface, up to four, plus up to three setups
  • Each engine answers from its own knowledge collection of engine-builder notes and manuals
  • Rulebooks and your own uploads, retrieved for the question you asked
  • Two-stroke and four-stroke. The LO206 tools are the deep four-stroke path
  • The coach asks for a tire or the track surface when that would change the answer
