1. Who can use KartBrain

You must be 13 or older to create your own account. Drivers under 13 may use KartBrain only through a parent or legal guardian who creates and manages the account on their behalf. By completing onboarding for a driver under 13 you confirm that you are that driver's parent or legal guardian and that you accept these Terms on their behalf.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity on your account.

2. The Service and AI outputs

KartBrain provides an AI chat assistant, setup and session tracking, and related tools. The Service produces text responses that may draw on the knowledge you have provided, our curated karting documents, and third-party AI models.

AI outputs are informational only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for decisions you make at the track, for your karting equipment, and for your safety. Do not rely on AI suggestions for jetting, gearing, or any safety-related configuration without verifying against the manufacturer's specifications and your own judgement.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't use the Service to break the law.
• Don't upload content you don't have rights to, including copyrighted rulebooks or third-party images, except to the extent permitted by fair use and clearly attributed.
• Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service, or use it to train competing AI models without our written permission.
• Don't impersonate others or submit another person's personal data without their permission.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you upload (setups, sessions, photos, chat messages). You grant KartBrain a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content solely so we can operate the Service for you.

We may use your de-identified, aggregated data to improve the Service. We will not use your content to train AI models unless you have opted in via the AI Training consent on your Profile page. You can revoke that optional consent at any time.

5. Plans, billing, and trials

KartBrain has a Free plan and two paid plans, Plus ($2.79 a month or $24 a year) and Unlimited ($9.99 a month or $89 a year). Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax added at checkout. Each plan has the allowances shown on the Billing page; Unlimited is subject to fair use, and we may slow or pause use that looks automated or abusive.

Trial. New accounts get 7 days of Unlimited free, with no card required. When the trial ends the account moves to Free unless you choose a paid plan. Nothing you saved is deleted.

Payment and renewal. Payments are processed by Stripe. A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. We will tell you before a price change applies to your plan.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. You keep the paid plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account moves to Free. Your setups, sessions, and history stay.

Refunds. If you are not happy, email us within 7 days of a charge and we will refund it. After that, payments are not refundable except where the law requires it.

Teams and white-label arrangements are agreed separately in writing.

6. Your data rights

You may download a JSON export of your KartBrain data at any time from the Profile page ("Danger zone → Download data export"). You can also request full account deletion, which begins a 30-day grace period before your data is permanently removed. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid plans. The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KartBrain and its operators disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, and non-infringement. KartBrain is not a safety-critical system and is not designed for use where the failure of the Service could cause injury, death, or significant property damage.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Some obligations (such as disclaimers, limitations of liability, and the license to your content retained for backups) will survive termination.

10. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms; the version string at the top of this page will change, and signed-in users will be prompted to accept the updated Terms before continuing.
